On Screen Historian PBS award-winning "The Borinqueeners" details the trails and tribulations of the US Army's only all-Puerto Rican infantry regiment in the Korean War. The soldiers of the regiment battled against not only the North Korean and Chinese armies but also racisim and discrimination which prevented their contributions from being recognized. President Barack Obama recently approved awarding the Congressional Gold Medal to the Korean War veterans of the 65th Infantry "Borinqueneers" Infantry Regiment.
