Up until the latter half of my 18th year of life, I did not care very much about what career or life goals to pursue. I had a life with no compass; and I was drowning in negative emotions and self-loathing. When a great friend of mine introduced me to a business opportunity, my perspective on life changed drastically and for the better. This business immersed me into a world of personal development, rejection-facing, fear-smashing, and everything else that can sculpt someone into a better version of themselves. Through that opportunity I learned the value and power to pursuing passions instead of a paycheck. My greatest passions are writing - a craft I've been developing since 5th grade - and dancing. I am choosing to hone my skills as a screenwriter for the rest of my life because I can visualize my future as one in vivid detail. I love to write; it's like creating an alternate universe on paper that can further be expressed through multiple forms of understanding which allow people to be captivated by their own imagination. As the writer, you get to guide someones imagination and emotions in any direction you may choose. That's powerful! It baffles me to watch interviews on screenwriters who say they dread the writing process. Yes, it is a challenge, but facing a challenge is the only way to grow as a writer, so why not love the challenge? So much is discovered about oneself through writing and adversity. I'm here for the long-haul. Let's connect and inspire generations together.
