About Jeremy

Jeremy Palmer received his MFA from the John Wells Division of Writing for Film & Television at the University of Southern California. He began his career as an actor at the age of 10 and took up writing in high school when he decided that just one maddeningly impossible pursuit wasn’t enough. He learned about writing for television while working for Starz/Encore as a teenager, writing and presenting film introductions and sketch comedy segments for the digital cable network WAM! He began writing plays and screenplays in his spare time at the age of 16. While earning his BA in Theatre from the University of Colorado at Denver, he began writing for the stage as well. He has been recognized by with the Alfred P. Sloan Screenwriting Grant and the Tribeca/Sloan Student Grand Jury Prize. His first feature, DETAINED, was filmed with Kinogo Pictures in 2021.
