Jacques Pourciau

Voicesbyjacques principal, Jacques Pourciau, has been using his voice professionally for over 25 years. As a cantor at Baton Rouge's St.Thomas More Catholic Church, he uses his confident but welcoming voice to encourage the congregation to participate in song. His easy going and approachable style allowed Jacques to easily add voice acting and the result is a professional portrayal of nearly any young adult or middle age male. His voice has been described as deep, resonant, sincere, honest, believable, but he can do plenty of character voices. Jacques' industry niches include commercial, narration, audiobooks, and animation. His voiceover training includes many NOLA Voice Talent Foundation workshops and private coaching with Stephen James, voice actor and coach. Jacques is non-union but is represented by NOVA, the New Orleans Voice Agency.
