About Ian

I am an action director with a strong sense for high-energy, transformative, urban stories. And teen adventures/comedies. I am a working SAG-AFTRA Stunt Performer, Stunt Coordinator and Stunt Rigger. My experience also lies in mechanical and pyro effects and I have a Mechanical Engineering degree from Ga Tech.

My short action film "Run Cholo Run" won two awards at film festivals and has over 2M views. I've been posting pages from the feature screenplay RUN CHOLO RUN at , hoping to build an active following like the writer of The Martian did with his novel.

My teen action heist movie SMASH AND RUN has won two screenwriting awards: Capital Fund Screenplay Competition 2023 "Hot 100" winner, and Emerging Screenwriters 2022 Action & Adventure Screenplay Competition Semi-Finalist.

I helped produce the features Acts of Violence and Vengeance Trail. is experiencing a renewed interest with an audio and ai upgrade.

I have several projects in various stages of development at

Unique traits: I'm a left brained creative. I can figure out anything related to action and I have the connections and resources to make it happen: car prep, mechanical and pyro FX, VFX, stunts, fire, wire flying, safety, permits, moving camera, etc.
