I am a play writer. I have written, produced 3 plays since 2012. Recently I produced and directed August Wilson's play The Piano Lesson. I have written numerous skits for local churches and Howard University.

Purpose: to give communities access to high quality artistic experiences, build audiences and provide opportunities for greater understanding and appreciation of the arts and inspire audiences using true life situations.
Vision: To use the stage as a platform to influence, communicate and benefit individuals in a positive manner.
Mission Statement: Produce entertainment to promote laughter and provide vibrant information for people of all ages. Reaching and touching individuals by combining everyday life while enhancing knowledge of life’s anxieties and how to overcome them.
Good theater elevates human consciousness it challenges us and provokes us. To quote Howard Shalwitz, the Director at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company “Theatre makes a valuable contribution to the world; it is a sophisticated expression of a basic human need.” I strongly feel that Theatre brings people together in an age when most of our communication is done through technology; cell phones, the internet and movies.
Theatre contributes to education and literacy. It also contributes to our economy and plays a special role in the revitalization of neglected neighborhoods. Lastly it can influence the way we think and feel about our own lives and encourages us to take a hard look at ourselves our values and our behavior.
The purpose of the theater is to offer Art, Entertainment and Education. We forget about all of our problems in the real world and are transposed to somewhere magical which is amazing!
Community theatre offers the best of every world. It has the power to bring us together and help our cities become communities. The creative, artistic, the business, social and social services aspects offer a myriad of outlets.
