About Ann

Ann Willems is a casting director in Belgium for film and television.
Since 2004, she has worked in casting for 5 film and 22 television productions, by order of the production company Skyline Entertainment.
Her casting credits include Hell in Tangier, Germaine and Salamander, directed by Frank Van Mechelen.
In 2014 she worked in casting with director Indra Siera for the drama television serie “Professor T”, which won the price of the jury on the festival of fiction in La Rochelle, in the category “foreign fiction”.
Since 2015 she became an independent casting director.
She works together with director Pieter Van Hees, preparing a new television serie about youngsters in Brussels, and with Frank Van Mechelen, preparing Salamander II.

Although the owner of the bus company is arrested as well and makes a full confession clearly indicating that both drivers were unaware of the hidden drugs, the Moroccan judge sentences both men to 5 years in the Moroccan prison of Tangiers. Nothing could have prepared the two men for life inside a Moroccan prison. Without food, clothes or medical care, they must learn how to take care of themselves to survive their stay in prison. Corrupt guards, corrupt lawyers and judges, a consul who doesn't care and frequent beatings are only part of the terrible prison.
