I hit the pavement in NY, theatre diploma tucked under my arm. I walked miles and miles to auditions. It was amazing and all of the other giddy superlatives that come along with being 20 in Manhattan. I ticked some boxes - Off-Broadway, regional theater, soaps and the requisite for any NY actor, Law & Order. I moved to sunny LA with a husband tucked under my arm. I drove miles and miles to auditions. I was a working-class actor. Opportunity and inclination started a shift to life behind the camera, producing docs, marketing media, and passion projects. So, I now I write and produce, and I’m happy to be on this path till the sun sets. Still a member of SAG-AFTRA, and now a member of Women In Film.
