Guye J. Smith

Guye J. Smith, Sr. was born in Far Rockaway, New York, in Queens. At the age of fourteen, he relocated to Florida to live with his maternal grandmother, Ella R. Smith.

As a young, and only child, Guye's creative talents were: Drawing, painting, writing poetry, short stories, and practicing calligraphy. He always imaged that his career would involve doing something, in which, he would utilize his creative talents. Little did Guye know, as he got older, his life would steer away from his artistic natural.

Guye, at the age of thirty-five, starts recovering some of his lost talents. He then had a new mission: To write books. After he began writing his first book, he realized; after writing over two hundred pages, that his book looked more like a screenplay - so I started learning how to write scripts.

For years now, Guye has been perfecting his craft: Writing screenplays. Until Guye is produced, he still works full time; but in his stare time, he has written DAY OF GIVING, JACKALS, and GROUND ZERO. Guye is currently rewriting a few of his earlier works, which includes: AFTER HOURS, and THE EVIL WITHIN.

If given the opportunity to write full time, Guye has plans to work on many of his outlined stores: A WOMAN SCORNED, CONFESSIONS OF TEENAGE PROSTITUTES, HIDDEN AMONG AMONG US, THUG LIFE, THE CLASSIFIEDS, SIN'S OF THE PAST, BURIED, MISTAKEN IDENTITY, THE RESURRECTED, THE PROMISE, FORGOTTEN SON, THE SYSTEM, BEHIND CLOSED DOORS, FROM GRACE, THE CAUSE, and STOLEN GIFT.
