About Vartan

I’m from the historical Armenia. The past 15 years I’ve lived in Los Angeles and became a citizen in 2010, in the city of angels.

In 2013 I graduated proudly The Los Angeles Film School as a Valedictorian, with an honorable 4.00 GPA. Now I’m taking film related classes at Los Angeles Valley College.

My inspiration is to create movies and documentaries that give the right message out to the audience, positively entertain people, document all the sensational and historical moments worldwide, and visualize impressive stories on the big screen. With my movies, I would like to teach and motivate the audience to love and be loved, to create and be kind, to forgive and be nice to others.

My Short film ‘’ALTERNATIVE’’ was screened in The Los Angeles Film School. Currently I’m in the postproduction process of the documentary – behind of scenes for the short movie “ALTERNATIVE’’. I’ve worked in several projects and recreations during my time as a student and after.

I live a healthy lifestyle, involved in sport, and take good care of my nutrition. I love creative photo and videography. I’m happy to help my friends and motivate them when they are down. I like listening to all kinds of music, except hardcore rock. I enjoy networking with professionals, going out with friends, fishing, watching movies and analyzing them, and learning, learning, learning. I love to read interesting and educational books, write scripts and plan for new productions.

Ever since I’ve graduated The Los Angeles Film School, my biggest accomplishment has been the network that I have created between my professional instructors, passionate classmates & many talents on respect and commitment bases. The short film, “Alternative” was the produce of my experience and education from the LA Film School.
I’ve worked in many corporate and professional events, in short films like “Common Sense”, “Just Another Dance With My Father” and “SWEY’’. I am also creating a documentary with one of the very successful tie designers in LA.

There are lots of things that motivate and inspire me to be involved in the film industry. One of those motivations is all the creative process in production, from beginning to end, and when my own produced work finally appears on the big screen. The other thing that motivates me is that I know that after my death, I will still be alive in my work and what I have left for the people on this Earth, and it will have eternal existence until the end of time. In my opinion, the thesis project is the biggest motivation & lesson for any filmmaker to be involved in.
It’s always good to have goals and especially when they are your number one priority. I’m planning to create short films every year in order to participate in film festivals. In The Los Angeles Film School I learned how to market my films and create a good impression for my reputation and myself.
