Five years of Broadcast Journalist experience, specializing in Commercial and TV News Production (videography, writing, editing, narrating, etc.) Most experienced with Adobe Premier and Audition, but willing to relearn Avid.

Film has always been the dream! I've been learning screenwriting and filmmaking tips from sites like nofilmschool, podcasts, and YouTube videos. As of November 2015, I have no film school experience, though I'm planning for Fall 2016.

My favorite filmmaker is Quentin Tarantino. My favorite person who makes films is Kevin Smith (one of my idols, and the reason I landed on film). I also look up to the Rian Johnsons, Edgar Wrights, and Christopher Nolans of this world. Best thing I've seen lately? Sicario. Performances are great, but Roger Deakins cinematography blew it out of the water.

I also love TV! At this point, I think I might watch any show that Dan Harmon (Community, Rick and Morty) creates for the rest of time, but I also stay current with Silicon Valley, Game of Thrones, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, so on and so forth. I'm also a lifelong fan of Showrunning Magician Joss Whedon, with an ever burning passion for Buffy, Firefly, and Angel.

I'm an idea machine! I don't always follow through on these ideas (who can?), but they're there, and I'm constantly looking for fresh ways to execute new and exciting stories. My favorite genres to write are Sci-Fi, and Dark Comedy.
