Graham Kurzner has worked professionally in the motion
picture and music industry for the past fifteen years. Originally
from Miami Florida, Graham attended Baylor University in Waco
TX, while still in school he founded The GK Film Group where he
co‐produced, wrote, and directed industrial films for; Burger
King, ARA Services, Sony HDTV, & Head Start.
After relocating to Los Angeles, he began writing and working as
a First Assistant Director for HBO and MTV as well as a number
of feature films (Sparkler, Phonebooth, Lovely & Amazing, Dark
Matter). As a writer/director Graham has directed for shows
like “The Kids in the Hall ‐ Live” produced by Nick Cage and
adapted a novel into a screenplay with Irish‐American author J.P Donleavy entitled “A Fairy Tale
of New York”. Currently, Graham continues to consult and manage artists as well as supervises
music for feature films, he has just completed work on “Waiting for Ophelia” 2010 starring
Yeardley Smith (The Simpsons) and directed by Adam Carl.
Graham remains extremely active in the music business, running a boutique management and
Label called Luckie Pierre Recordings & Management. Artists on the roster have included;
Buddy (CA) heard on TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy (ABC), One Tree Hill (CW), and Cougar
Town (ABC) also featured in the upcoming Film Wake (2010). Buddy has toured with Mercury
Prize winner Gomez, Grammy winner, Sarah Bareilles, Ian Ball (Gomez), Tilly and the Wall, A
Fine Frenzy, Mieko and The Hotel Café tours. Voyager One (WA) signed to Loveless Records
(Seattle) and toured with BRMC, Dandy Warhols. Voyager Ones’ music also has been placed on
TV and Video Games (One Tree Hill, Ferrari Challenge 2008). trespassers william (WA), who’s
Nettwerk Records Release Having was produced by Dave Fridmann (Modest Mouse, Low, The
Flaming Lips) and toured with Morrissey, Damien Rice and Broken Social Scene, with multiple
Film and TV placements. Recently Luckie Pierre has begun consulting developing acts like:
Grand Hallway, Operation Aloha (Gomez, Maroon 5, phantom planet), Window View, & Sky
Cries Mary. Records released on Luckie Pierre’s label are: Arnold (self‐titled ‐ ep), Bahama (US
2008 Version), & Surhan Duran (self‐titled LP).
As an award winning still photographer, Graham’s work remains on permanent display at the
Library of Congress for his contributions to “Here is NY” an art movement started after 9/11.
He continues to shoot stills for bands and has been published worldwide.
Graham has been featured in NY’s BIG Magazine shot by photographer Klaus Thymann
(Coldplay, David Bowie, Nike), and mentors for IMPnow.com with Orian Williams (Control
2008, Big Sur, Shadow of the Vampire). Graham has mentored to students and professionals at
music festivals: (CMJ, SxSW, UCLA,).
In addition to his artistic and management work, Graham sits on the board of The Los Angeles
Performing Arts Foundation. A non‐profit organization dedicated to inspiration and access to
arts programs for all Los Angelinos.
Graham currently lives in Los Angeles.
