About Santiago

Audio and visually inclined with high respect for film as the highest format for entertainment and art, saw in filmmaking a way to explore deeper all areas of interest inside one communal art form. Accepted into multiple highly regarded universities such as USC, UCLA, NYU and SCAD with scholarship offers in most of them, however opted for a more hands-on approach to learn the knots and bolts of such a complex art form and begun to pursue a BFA in Filmmaking at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles in 2013. Ever since has been creatively involved in more than 40 short films, 2 feature length film, wrote, directed and co-produced 8 personal projects, and interned at a Beverly Hills based production and distribution company. Throughout 2015 has produced four high quality short films with release dates through out 2016. In July 2015 had a debut in the music video arena with Malynda Hale’s “Hey Stranger”, the music video is currently circulating in Vevo with great reception from the audience.

Residing in Los Angeles, CA at the moment, and currently working on my fourth short film, “Debunked.”, a character study drama set to kick off its festival run during the first quarter of 2016:
