Brian C. Jones is an international touring artist originally from Texas and happy to call New York home. He has studied, taught, and performed dance and musical theatre all over the world with some favorites including Beijing, Cairo, Beirut, and recently, Bangkok, Thailand. In NY, Brian also enjoys freelancing as a dancer, developing new modern and contemporary work. He originated the role of Issaac in Clare Cook Dance Theater's Touching Loss with Director Lori Wolter Hudson and playrwright Leah A. Miles. Last season, he danced with H.T. Chen & Dancers, Buglisi Dance Theater Company, and emerging artists Novomisle, Blue Muse, and CircuitDebris joining Pentacle Dance Agency's Roster. Brian also had the privilege of regionally performing in two of his favorite shows, Aida and Chess, where he played Freddie. This season he performed in Insomnium Theatre Company's inaugural show The Love of a Nightingale, Fearless Theatre Production's The Shadow Box, the new rock musical Lovington. Currently he is on he national tour of VeggieTales as Jimmy and a featured dancer. Upcoming this season, he will be a featured dancer in the Inernational tour of Scooby-Doo. Catch him in April as Chet Cheshire in the brand new musical, Speakeasy, at Theatre For A New City in New York.
