I am an accidental actor :) I offered my services as a seamstress to a local theatre company in 2010 for their upcoming play The Trial of Scrooge. As I am English, the director asked if I would read the part of Mrs Dilber so that they could hear how a genuine English accent sounded - the director offered me the part!! . From that moment I was hooked, I loved being on the stage and decided to carry on. Since then I have been with two theatre companies in the Memphis area and have worked both on and off stage with costumes, crew and recently stage managing To Kill a Mockingbird. My son who is in 6th grade is also an actor which makes it even more fun as we have been in a couple of plays together.
