About Oksana

Originally from a small town in the south of Russia, I made my way to New York, where I studied filmmaking at NYFA and directed, wrote and edited three short films, then I went to Paris where I was lucky to to work as a production assistant in a great documentary project THE FIRST FILM, directed and produced by David Nicholas Wilkinson (Guerilla Films Ltd, UK). Now back to Moscow I graduated from Mikhalkov Academy of Cinema and Theatre Arts, where i made three short films, including my diploma project DOLMEN which is now traveling about the festivals while together with my producer from MAGIC Production I'm elaborating a feature film from it, alongside also shooting two documentary projects.

These were shot on cameras patented in both America and the UK. Once he had perfected his projection machine Le Prince arranged to demonstrate his discovery to the American public and thus the world.
