About Andrew

Hello,

My name is Andrew Sokolowski and I'm a young filmmaker who graduated from Fraser High School in Michigan and I’ve been making films all my life. I have directed many short films that can be seen on my YouTube channel BlueBand Films. In between making short films I also film events such as Weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. I work for a company called Tone-e Films in Keego Harbor, MI.

Throughout my high school career, I took a leadership position in Mr. Flanagan’s
Broadcast Journalism class at Fraser High School. I was also chosen to be part of the first group of PBS All Stars and I was given a trip to Washington, D.C. to meet the other all-stars from across the country. I not only worked on my own individual projects, including but not limited to: Paid Projects; Films; Documentaries; and PSA’s, I also helped others create their projects for the PBS Student Reporting Labs. I was involved with PBS all through High School and even worked a camera for a PBS broadcast involving the Poet Laureate Natasha Trethewe. I also helped a Film Journalist named Matt Ehrichs film a documentary about graffiti artist for PBS. Film Making and video production is a huge passion of mine and I look foreword to many great projects ahead.
