Matthew Mills, Creative Career Coach, Loyola Marymount University School of Film and Television.
At LMU, Matt provides career advisement to film students and alumni, and forges relationships with entertainment industry contacts to create new internship and career opportunities and programming. Prior to joining the School of Film and Television, Matt began his career in the entertainment industry, working at companies such as Creative Artists Agency, Odenkirk Talent Management, and as a creative development executive at Sam Raimi and Josh Donen’s production company, Stars Road Entertainment. In 2011, Matt joined LMU School of Film and Television where he has helped oversee programs including the weekly Monday Night Screening Series, FilmCraft, and the SFTV/Film Independent Incubator Lab program for young alumni. He has been serving in his current role as the Assistant Director of Career and Alumni Engagement as of Summer 2013.
In addition, Matt is also the founder of Career Creative (www.careercreative.net), providing private career coaching services for creative professionals.
Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts in History and Cinema Studies from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts, and holds a Master of Arts degree in Guidance and Counseling from Loyola Marymount University.
