Evelyn Saunders

I'm a storyliner, script editor, writer, and researcher for film, adult and children's tv, and documentary. I like a complex project and a recent writing credit, "Find My Killer" (a 10 x 10-min web series created for TVNZ OnDemand) combined all my favourite things - crime and young adult genres with telling stories across multiple platforms. It won Regional Category, Short Form Content, Asian Academy Creative Awards 2019, and streamed on Australia’s 7Plus.

Background-wise, I've worked in the industry and Australian industry-related bodies since the early nineties. From 2012-2016 I lectured in storyworld creation for multiplatform documentary and drama at the AFTRS (Australian Film TV & Radio School). In 2013 I co-authored Firelight Productions' "Hands On: All Media Producing" with Marcus Gillezeau. These days, when I'm not writing and developing my own concepts, I provide script editing and analysis services through Script Central and I tutor Interactive Storytelling at Griffith University, Brisbane.
