'IM A GRINT
By Nestor A Lucas

GENRE: Romance, Historical, Biography, Documentary, Drama
LOGLINE: What if governments plotted chaos to cause forced immigration? A film that tackles racism and love through two cultural perspectives, both from the southern hemisphere.

SYNOPSIS:

The other side of the immigration/refugee picture, told through the eyes and memories of the bullied, tormented, highly educated, and accident-prone son that was only 4 when he was introduced to the last state in Australia to abolish The White Paper Policy. The parents' love-story with the Historical backdrop from Perón to the Military Dictatorship that lasted to 1983 and forced the arm of a patriotic Argentine (Peronista) to flee his home in 1977, with one hand in front, and the other behind, as he used to say. The Political lies and manipulations behind the immigration debate, from both sides of the fence. A fresh, new approach to understanding "foreigners" of a different kind.
