Twila LaBar is a filmmaker, director, and songwriter. LaBar made her narrative film directorial debut in the independent narrative film, "Blanche," filmed on location in Marfa and Alpine, Texas. LaBar is an award-winning songwriter. Her extensive background in songwriting and music production made transitioning into filmmaking a natural next step. LaBar composed songs for the "Blanche" film soundtrack. She recently premiered her independent film, Ten in Texas, at the Paramount Theatre in Austin, TX. Her documentary film, "Where the Horses Heal the Soul," is currently in post-production.
