Miguel Castillo is a filmmaker with an MFA in Screenwriting from DePaul University. Prior to school, he was as a production manager for Sunrise Seagull Productions, an award-winning company that focused on multicultural media content. As a first generation Chicano, Miguel has developed a passion for writing stories in hopes to be a voice for the Latino community. Miguel's screenplays have placed at Austin Film Fest, Sundance Latino Screenwriting Project, Oaxaca Film Fest and more.
