National Geographic Explorer, photographer, filmmaker, artist, designer, director, painter...if it involves visual storytelling, I'm there. I'm passionate about the beautiful world around me as well as capturing that beauty through some sort of lens. If I can inspire others to get excited about this planet or at the very least encourage someone to enjoy some of the finer, beautiful details along life's journey, I will count my day a success. A good friend introduced me to the writings of William Blake...his poem, Auguries of Innocence, begins this way: "To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower..." Finding something extraordinary in the mundane is what he's talking about. One can find success as an artist with this thought in mind, and more importantly success and fulfillment in life.
