I'm a database manager who works for a foundation. Monthly, I take the open mic for ten minutes at Gumbo Fiction Salon in Chicago and give interpretive readings of my stories that range from suspense to science fiction to horror. Occasionally, I do directed readings of my one-act plays there. I completed a stage adaptation of "Bitter End," one of Rex Stout’s Nero Wolfe murder mysteries. It had a directed reading at the Piven Theatre in Evanston, IL in July 2015. I live in Chicago with my wife, Kathleen, under the watchful eyes of Slinky the Cat.
