SYNOPSIS:
Pariahs among us by Jorge Freire Born in a poor neighborhood in India, raised in Argentina, tutored in a Mosque by a Muslim terrorist. Ragina marries in New York trying to find out her true sexuality. After an earthquake, in India, Ragina helps the Red Cross care for the wounded when terrorists find her and try to recruit her as a suicide bomber. Confused, Ragina returns to New York and becomes a homeless person. Assaulted, ends up in a hospital where her former tutor attaches a bomb to Ragina’s semi-unconscious body. Ragina races against time to get out of the hospital before the bomb explodes. With the bomb ticking and her husband approaching, Ragina, weak and disfigured, confronts the terrorist and realizes who she is. A touching story intertwining natural beauty, terrorism, mystic religions, racism, gay life while exposing loopholes in the immigration and customs systems.
