About Gary

Australian-born Gary was chosen for the Edinburgh TV Festival's 'Ones to Watch' program last year, which showcases the brightest upcoming stars in the UK TV industry. He's a writer for HOLLYOAKS and previously won an AWGIE for his writing on HOME AND AWAY. His mother won an Australian Open tennis title but Gary bucked the trend of his sports-obsessed family to focus on his creative dreams instead.

Gary has written several original pilot scripts that range from psychological thriller to black comedy and horror. He is current writing his first feature film script, a contained, queer suspense thriller.
