Cory Bradford

My name is Cory Bradford and I am a screenwriter, stand-up comedian, and social media influencer based in East Alabama about an hour and a half outside of Atlanta, GA. I started this profile several years ago and at that time, I didn't have a lot of irons in the fire as far as scripts and ideas go. I've spent the last few years working in political organizing and I currently work as a social media assistant for the non-profit news organization Who What Why.

As far as my creative efforts go, since the fall of 2019 I've been making comedic, satirical videos about history and politics for TikTok (@thisiscory). As strange as it may seem, I've been able to amass a following of more than 450,000 fans on TikTok along with a few thousand fans on both Instagram and YouTube. This has led to several paid social media gigs and every once and a while I'll get recognized for my social media work.

My long term goal is write for both film and television. I just completed writing my first pilot script for a half-hour, single camera sitcom about a multiracial, blended family and I'm currently looking for some more creative hands to collaborate with on this project. I'm also working on a mockumentary comedy feature about a failed local rapper and a more serious documentary film on my hometown which will discuss it's recent fall into chaos. I'm hoping to use Studio 32 to make valuable connections that will both build my own career as well as help make someone else's creative dreams come true.
