Jaye Palmer has 30 years acting experience, starting as Gretl in The Sound of Music at age 5. A natural character actress, she has excelled played strong characters such as Katherine in the Taming of The Shrew, Lady Mac and even fell into the typecasting trap as the Evil Queen, Evil Empress and Wicked Stepmother in pantomimes. She is delighted to reprise the role of 'Lex' with No Tears, saying that "deliciously dark characters like this don't come along every day". 2012 has seen Jaye tour Ireland in 'Little Red Riding Hood'(her second production with Talisman Theatre), train as puppeteer for an upcoming internationally touring project and cut her teeth in the world of Radio as a presenter with Near fm. As part of the 2012 Royal Shakespeare Company's Open Stages Festival , Jaye played an hilarious modern day version of Nerissa in 'The Merchant of Venice' in The Lyric Theatre, Belfast and was invited back to play Tom Stoppard's version of Lady Macbeth in 'Doggs Hamlet, Cahoot's Macbeth'.
