overview
With a strong artistic eye and extensive experience Argyris Theos has not only developed the ability to create first class imagery but also the ability to work around the daily issues of cinematography, showing excellent managerial capabilities. Totaling 9 theatrical features, 18 prime time television series, commercials, shorts, live events, 51 stage plays and more, Argyris shows a personality that is both ” light” oriented and versatile enough to accomplish any kind of work that involves visual storytelling.
His fluent use of the English and French languages and his ease with computer systems has helped a lot in the development of the aforementioned skills.
His stereographic capabilities have been carved by years of study, the creation of a short film and a seminar in France (S3DCampus 2011)

Languages: speaks and writes fluently in English, French and Greek Greek being his native language, both English and French skills are rated to C2 level (EU standards)

His career started on 1985 as an Assistant Cameraman a position he held till 1990.


Active member of the Greek Society of Cinematographers (GSC)
Argyris is also an active member of the cinematography mailing list, and a member of the cml grand jury.
In the past he has been an affiliate of Eastman Kodak Co, commenting on stocks that were about to be released (aka beta tester)
He is also a Sony Independent Certified Expert (ICE) specializing on camcorders.
He shows an ease on computer use, being able to adopt to most systems and software at minimal time.

He became interested in stereography back in 2006 (pre-Avatar times). He owns his own mirror rig, a 3Dfilmfactory Indie.

From April 2011 till March 2012, he accepted a yearly contract as Director of Photography to the Greek National Television (ERT SA)
