Sarah Lee Gossett Parrish

Sarah Lee Gossett Parrish is a third generation attorney. Her legal thriller, GUILT OF INNOCENCE, took second place in the New York Law Journal’s Fiction Contest in 2006, and her screenplay took first in the thriller category at the Best Little Pitchfest in Austin shortly afterward. The National Law Journal named Sarah Lee one of its 2019 Cannabis Trailblazers, and her law firm was voted the Top Cannabis Business Law Firm in the State of Oklahoma in The Journal Record's 2020, 2021, and 2022 Readers Choice Awards. She also has been named one of the Global Top 200 Cannabis Lawyers in 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 by Cannabis Law Report. She serves as a Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association's Cannabis Policy Committee (2021 - present), and has celebrated twenty years with Martindale-Hubbel's highest AV Preeminent™ rating for peer and judicial review. She also is listed on the Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers.
Sarah Lee’s professional affiliations include American Bar Association, International Cannabis Bar Association, National Cannabis Industry Association, NORML, Lawyers of Distinction for Excellence in Cannabis Law, and Oklahoma Cannabis Industry Association. She is admitted to practice in Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado (Single Client), and before the U.S. Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. She represents cannabis dispensaries, cultivators, processors, distributors, transporters, and ancillary businesses in all facets of the cannabis industry, including licensing, compliance, business and corporate matters, contracts, insurance, and litigation. Sarah Lee is also a certified civil mediator.
Sarah Lee received her B.A. in Letters from the University of Oklahoma, graduating with the Silver Leitzeiser Award for Outstanding Senior, Phi Beta Kappa, Summa Cum Laude. While chairing the Oklahoma Governor's Commission on the Status of Women, she helped create the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame.
Sarah Lee has presented at Oklahoma City's CannaCon I and II, INCBA webinars, and the EIP Canna Tech Expo in Tulsa. She has been quoted in Marijuana Business Daily, Los Angeles Times, The Denver Post, The Chicago Tribune, The Boston Globe, The New York Times, and online publications of ABC News, Newsmax, The Leaf, and Cannabis Tech, and has written guest columns for Cannabis Business Executive, Marijuana Venture, and Herb-Age Magazine. Her radio appearances include Cannabis A to Z with Frankie Boyer, Mike Siegel Show, Heidi Selexa Show, and KTOK.
Active in her community, Sarah Lee has served on the Board of Directors for the OKC Ballet, Travelers Aid and Homeless Assistance, and the Lynn Institute for Health Sciences.
