About Shaka

University of Houston Graduate with a degree in Theater Arts, Stage Combat, and Psychology. Worked for the Houston Grand Opera as a Stage combat coordinator and fight captain. Founding member and officer of a theater company in college which produced the first African-American play at U of H. Worked in New York for 5 years off Broadway and on commercials and trained with the Barrow Group theater. Had the pleasure of being on set with Steve Buscemi on Boardwalk Empire (learned a lot from watching his performance). Now living in Los Angles, training with Anthony Meindl and is continue the passion for the craft. Is interested in learning production and have started a production company.
