Since 2014, has been working as a story analyst for Universal Pictures International and Focus Features. With an extensive knowledge of screenwriting and strong script analysis skills, is highly prepared to give smart solutions to fix a script’s problems and help it achieve its full potential. Upon writing reports for high-level executives, has become well-versed in the trends in the industry and has developed the aptitude to estimate the commercial potential of the projects received. Holding a BA in Psychology from University of Sao Paulo and a screenwriting specialization from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, his screenplay Brazilian Odyssey was selected in third place at the Pauliceia Mario de Andrade Grant. Previously worked as a local Production Coordinator for Double Entente Films on the 212 VIP Carolina Herrera project. Also worked as a production assistant, researcher and screenwriter at Mobb Filmes. Prior to that, worked as a production and screenwriting assistant, being involved in the post-production and release of the feature film AE – Auto Exposure, in the development of the project Ours Ladies of Copacabana, and also writing three projects selected for film grants and labs (such as the Berlinale Talents). Began in the film industry as a film critic covering the 2009 edition of Rio de Janeiro’s International Short-Film Festival.
Fluent in English and Portuguese, with strong verbal and written communication skills, is creative, passionate about writing and exceptionally attentive to details. Capable of collective contribution as a part of a team or working alone, also has strong listening, reading and observation skills.
