Patrick West Newman

In 2011 I moved to Logan, Ut to attend Utah State University for a degree in Graphic Design. After about two years pursuing my degree I found that it didn't fulfill my complete love for the arts, mostly photography and writing. I decided It was in my best interest to move to Salt Lake City, Ut in 2013 to pursue a degree in Film & Media Arts from the University of Utah. I have worked mostly freelance Camera Operations in sports broadcasting for PAC-12 Networks, ESPN and Fox Sports. I have also found my way into small production studios across the valley and worked on multiple commercial productions from small local brands all of the way up to Intel. Now as I move more towards feature and short form films as a DP and Cinematographer, on both Narrative and Documentary films, I find myself doing more and more of what I love to do each day collaborating with new and creative people across the world.
