A modern Film Noir displaced in the current culturally Liberal corrected America where an aging detective his world in slow decline rocked by accusations of being involved in a racist based murder.

SYNOPSIS:

Robert Marklin, age 62, finds himself a reluctant fossil of am old world view in steep decline as the unlucky focus of a celebrated murder investigation, the incident having been caught live on national news camera. The murder victims including his one time lawyer and the street thug that appears out of nowhere to kill him. The media spins the incident focusing on Marklin's role in a botched attempt to apprehend the young black perpetrator who is hit by a passing car in the chase. While the media emblazons the incident in terms of the boy being the unproven assassin, they concentrate on Marklin as being a typical racist whose 'white privilege' based mentality is responsible for the boy's death. As the plot deepens, the actual target of the hit is revealed to be the errant politically incorrect detective who must now dodge the powers of the system that have earmarked him as their most convenient scapegoat for pursuing a larger social agenda while he attempts track down the actual assailants. The trail leading to the true identity of his former wife who has left him to re-establish a connection with former nefarious contacts that are involved with enacting a national coup.
