SYNOPSIS:

“DANNY the MANNY” follows a male babysitter named Danny who is struggling to achieve balance between his lives as a gay man dating in his twenties, an aspiring actor auditioning in Hollywood, and a babysitter mothering a surly six-year-old named Quinn.

When he discovers that Quinn has a penchant for cross-dressing, Danny resolves to uncover the truth behind this inclination. Is Quinn under the LGBT umbrella, or is his hobby just a phase? In this new era of queer acceptance, it’s impossible to know the “right way” to raise your child, but Danny thinks he has the answer and takes raising Quinn into his own hands. Danny risks his job, his rent money, and his conscience, but the question remains:
