A group of young actors are putting on a play about John Lennon in my local theatre and I'm not sure if they are allowed to use his early life or his name without some form of license which I don't think they have. do I report it if so how?

You see, I've worked construction, been the Executive Director of a Chamber of Commerce, taught at various levels, been a top salesperson, experienced near-Homelessness and wealth, lived with and loved Hippies and Yuppies! And I realized, in each Life Role, I've been an Actor - I chameleon into the position, sometimes overcoming a total lack of relevant experience to nail the role!
And, as a Psychotherapist, I get deeper who the characters are that I portray..
Yet I still am in awe of the brilliance I see among many contributing to productions, and I eagerly throw in my hats!!
Hey Beverly, thanks for the vine! How's Life, and how's the creativity going?!

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!

She should be able to tell you what you may do and use and what not. You probably are not allowed to play the music as long as you make any money with your play. Good luck!

Have you spoken to these young actors and asked them if they have considered the possibilities of licenses?
