After making a major discovery, a scientist commits suicide leaving the rabid media and his distraught daughter behind to discover the reason why. A Lost Time is a dramatic thriller that questions fate and morality.
Taylor’s life is anything but typical. On the surface she is the daughter of a prominent scientist and a college student, but beneath that is a concoction of loneliness and confusion. Taylor returns home one night to find her father dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. His latest research is being held as one of the greatest discoveries of the 21st century; he has discovered a way for animal organs to be more compatible with humans, reducing the chances of them being rejected by the body, therefore, saving thousands of lives that are lost to waiting for an organ donor. So why did a man that made such a discovery commit suicide? As Taylor immerses herself in his journals and notes, she recalls the moments where their blissful lives began to spiral downhill and ultimately discovers the answer she has been looking for.
