A registered poet in the Ontario International Poetry Slam Lena Recollet most recently made her 2nd film, a poetry film called "Historical Landmark" off her "I Am Woman, Kwe" release to iTunes! I decided to continue writing after receiving the Cynthia Lickers Sage Award for Emerging Talent for my first film "Eggs Instead", which at the time I was participating in a one week filmmaking intensive called Catapult. I wasn't expecting to win an award let alone even be accepted into imagineNATIVE Film Festival! Lena had her start as an actress in short films such as Johnny Greyeyes by Nepantla Films, Tree by Shelley Niro and Rezurrection by Keesic Douglas. A multidisciplinary artist, she also assisted in set and costume design with Red Pepper Spectacle Arts in Toronto from 2003-2010! A trained actress in stage combat and female wrestler for WWC, her next inspiration would be an action film. Lena travels and works within both the Toronto & Sudbury Northern District.
Unique traits: Flexible back. Full lips. long fingers and super long legs.
