A clown goes for an interview to be a clown on a government scheme to address the mental illness epidemic amongst children and young people. Being non-verbal she tries everything she knows in an increasingly desperate effort to convince the panel she is the right person for the job.
SYNOPSIS:
Job interviews can be surreal. But when they are badly designed and eliminate the most appropriate candidates they can be truly Kafka-esque. This interview focuses on how a clown might 'measure and evaluate the effectiveness of their intervention', rather than focus on the very human qualities clowns bring to their audience. And what if you're a non-verbal clown? All you can use is your body. The comedy value lies in the disconnect between the clown and her interviewers.
