Hi Stage-32ers. I've had a love of stories since I was a toddler. My journey sort of ran on a parallel track to writing screenplays and my other passion, short stories. I've been a journalist and a Public Relations Consultant - lots of writing, researching, and storytelling (up to a point). I went self employed in 2002 in order to devote my life to writing but, after a little success having a script for the BBC daytime drama series Doctors produced I got side-tracked into earning money. I had a family to support, so don't judge me too harshly! Now I'm devoting my life to writing and hope that my work will resonate with you guys out there and find an audience. Thanks for reading.

St Julien Budget: $5M - $10M | Historical Julien grows up to be a Nazi. He denounces his parents (his mother is half-Jewish) to the authorities in order to rise up the party hierarchy. Later, as an SS officer, he is put in charge of a firing squad by his superiors who know that his parents are among those facing death. Julien has to decide between being a Nazi or allowing his parents to live. He orders their deaths, but is haunted by his decision. He seeks redemption by helping Jews flee the country. He is killed rescuing a sick Jew. The Jew accompanies Julien to the afterlife where he is reunited with his parents.
Silent Spring Budget: $1M - $5M | Biography Female American marine biologist Rachel Carson is attacked by politicians and their industrial backers when she writes a best-selling book exposing the environmental devastation of pesticides. 2024 will be the 50th anniversary of her premature death from cancer.
Ellie Budget: $1M - $5M | Thriller A former soldier-turned-priest battles his PTSD and his religious convictions when his daughter Ellie is murdered by a criminal gang. When justice for Ellie fails to materialize, he sets off on a mission to confront the criminals himself.
The Interview Budget: $0 - $100K | Comedy A clown goes for an interview to be a clown on a government scheme to address the mental illness epidemic amongst children and young people. Being non-verbal she tries everything she knows in an increasingly desperate effort to convince the panel she is the right person for the job.
