Logline:  (Short): Wes Anderson impregnates Sandlot and Bad News Bears.

Longer: Fed up with the culture of progressive parenting, an upper-middle class doctor-dad, Jack Edwards, finds his son, JJ, a wildly diverse inner-city little league team and ends up coaching it himself.

SYNOPSIS:

A pediatrician and his 12-year-old son leave the pretentious hypocrisy of a wealthy baseball league to join an inner-city baseball league near his charity clinic. The boy is assigned to the last place team made up of kids of all nationalities and all levels of baseball skill. In an improbable season of hilarious and dramatic ups and downs the team finds itself in the David and Goliath championship game.
