Many people struggle with the question of what they want to do with their lives. I have never had that problem. Ever since I can remember, I have wanted to make movies. Even with a full knowledge of purpose, it can be a tough road to setting out on that path. In what capacity do I want to make films? Do I want to act? Edit? Direct? In the last 5 years, I have realized what I always knew to be true: I am a storyteller. As a writer, we have to not only find our process, but find our stories, dedicate our lives to them, and more than anything, find ourselves in them. It has been some journey. And I'm proud to say that I love my stories.
I write indie-themed dramas in varying genres, centered around family, identity, loss and modernity. I have written three scripts, two of which are in the rewrite process. Have been lucky to work with some amazing teachers, consultants, and mentors, and I'm so excited to be a part of this community.
