Dan Siegler's Reel

Dan Siegler is a composer/producer and songwriter from NYC. His natural habitat is Saturnfoot Studios, a vibe-forward, instrument laden space in Chelsea, NYC, that has become a home away from home for many independent artists as well as larger corporate entities looking to keep it real.

BE IN THE GRAY WITH ME (2009) examines the role of abstract dance within a classical story ballet. The dance is set to an electronic score by Dan Siegler and Russian composers Pavel Karmonav and Vladimir Martynov.

On May 16, 2013, William Petroni, former dancer with Pam Tanowitz Dance, led an in depth Come Early Conversation with Dan Siegler, one of the composers of "The Spectators", the newest work by classical experimentalist choreographer Pam Tanowitz. Petroni and Siegler discuss compositional process and collaborative methods of creation among other topics.
