About Bob

Hi, My name is Bob Murdy and I came to live in Barnesville, GA back in 2007 when I moved here to take care of my mom who had been diagnosed with Alzhiemer's. I am originally from Midland Mich. After High School, I spent 2 years in NYC studying with Lee Strasberg and Uta Hagen. After I ended up in Chicago where I got my professional start in 1978. I did numerous commercial's for Joe Sedelmaier. Most famous of which was "Step Aside" for Wendy's Hamburger's. I was also the voice of Krackle for Kellogg's Rice Kripie's for 6 years in the early '90's. In 1997 I moved to Hollywood where I did an episode of "Kenan & Kel" with Kenan Thompson, and many more commercials and voice work. Since mom passed away in May of 2015, I am anxious to get my career back up and running in Atlanta, as Hollywood has gotten way too expensive to move back to. (Unless I win the lottery. :) )

Unique traits: I have a unique voice that at times can sound like a Munchkin. But, thanks to Mr. Strasgerg, He introduced me to Dr. Esti Freud back in 1976. (Yes, she was the daughter in law of Sigmund.) Who taught me how to control my voice and reach lower regesiters.
