Seems a bit weird writing my bio but here goes.
Firstly I am only starting from February 23rd 2009 , why you may ask. On this day I had an accident and smashed my head open on a concrete footpath. Also collapsed a lung. Woke up in hospital 7 days later and was GaGa. It took about another 8 weeks after intensive care stint to get out of the rehab dept of the hospital I was in. Had to pass all the psychological tests. (They were worried I would get run over.)
So I get home with part of my brain missing and get bored watching Oprah . (Sorry Oprah).
I start writing a book (The Arii). At first I can only concentrate for 30 minutes at a time . I literally would fall asleep. (Maybe readers of it also fall asleep.) After about 12 months I had the basic book there and could concentrate for up to 2 hours. This was a sort of self created rehab programme. It took another year to edit it was terrible even now I know it is not every ones cup of tea. Then I found a publisher who suggested more edits so I took their advise.
The Taekwondo . I already had a 1st Dan ranking from Kukkiwon so I set about getting my 2nd Dan and later 3rd Dan.
Enrolled in a language paper because I read somewhere that being multilingual improves brain use . So because I had lost I had about a quarter of it I thought lets see.
Then Enrolled in an MBA (Master of Business Administration.) Completed that last year (2017) and have resumed working albeit in a contracting fashion.
So now looking to work in the creative field as a writer or editor. Can also evaluate the commercial side of proposals.
The reason I wrote after brain injury was because it was something I always had half done, half done ain't done at all.
