SYNOPSIS:

Based on my childhood, a shy, introverted boy finds real life unappealing. His family moves constantly and he has no time to find friends. He withdraws further and further into himself, creating an imaginary friend from a cartoon series. He loves to play baseball but isn't very good, but can imagine himself saving the day in a variety of ways. He likes girls but can't talk to them. They chant 'Shy Boy' at him all the time, and that causes him to withdraw more. In the end, he imagines himself in a happy place until it is rudely interrupted.
