About Regina

I was born I don't know where and even when. As far as I know my parents fled the Soviet Union under Stalin and left me under temporary care of these people they thought they could trust. They were mistaken. My parents never came back and I grew up in a very abusive place. When I was 17, I ran away to study at the University. I wanted to be a journalist because I wanted to help people. Sometimes I think I succeeded. I worked as a journalist in Lithuania and in US until I got sick with AML. I take things easier now, but I don't want to retire from life. I have so many things to say.

Unique traits: I was a journalist in the Soviet Union. I didn't write about the things they told me I should write about. I was brought to court many times. After Lithuania became independent, I wrote about the mafia. I was physically threatened and my children were physically threatened. The police were no use. I started writing about culture. Actually, I always believed it can change the world. At the same time I started teaching students at the University and worked in a professional theater as the director of the literary department. I participated in all rehearsals and was responsible for the language on the stage. I have always wanted to write a script for the stage.
