About Tricia

First Film Screenplay written = Behind The Barber Shops Mirror (completed in 2014 and is UK copyright)

I have been networking and making contact with various agents, directors, producers, actors for possible film production. Some positive feedback has been greatly received for my work but no takers yet!! Keep trying........

I lean towards a gangster genre in my style. It has to be local and above all else, it has to be British. Think Ritchie and Meadows encountering Tarantino up a dark alley!

Logline:
‘Behind The Barber Shops Mirror’ is about two different people who meet through slightly twisted fate, but what lies behind the mirror will either bring them closer or end badly for someone.

Synopsis:
Jacs’ curiosity lands her with a bump to the head and a chance meeting with ‘Mr Right’ (or not so right). Only the Barber Shops mirror knows the real truth and secrets start to unfold. Encounters with local crooks, vegetables and two stressed dogs could go one of two ways. Is Jacs spurred on to risk all for the new love of her life or will it prove tricky. For someone, at least.

For ‘Behind The Barber Shops Mirror’, I received feedback and criticism from Horror genius David Keating (Wake Wood) who commented, ‘The script shows you have a very strong ear for dialogue, quite extraordinary, and you’ve created some vivid scenes with rich characters. Congratulations. This is no mean feat’.

2016 - Second Film Screenplay currently underway (first draft) titled, ‘Operation Bumblebee’ involves local gangsters, police, a child serial killer and gypsies! Set in 1979.

Unique traits: Got to love good old Dialogue! Decent score and soundtrack spurs me on to write even more!
