About Ryan

I'm an aspiring writer/director living in Port Angeles, WA. I grew up in Homer, Alaska and have always lived in rural areas. I love the outdoors and enjoy hiking, fishing, snowboarding, and mountain biking. The rugged beauty of the Pacific Northwest has always been my main source of inspiration as a storyteller, as well as the stranger than fiction tales from the past. I love the late 19th century history of the Pacific Northwest and I also have a passion for Pacific Northwest Native American culture.I have a wife and two beautiful children, and I do carpentry work as well as make independent films. I made a proof of concept for my original series "The Olympians", and I'm also making a web series as a proof of concept for my original series 'Shadow Mountain'. My goal is to get representation as a writer/director. I have several scripts on hand and more ideas for future scripts as well. I like long form dramatic series and feature films, but I'm also writing short form web series as well.

Unique traits: I'm a master cannabis grower specializing in my own 100% organic indoor growing technique. My wife and kids are more important to me than any so-called success, so I just follow my passions, stay grounded, and truly enjoy every opportunity I get to make films and tell great stories!
