Translator and editor by day, Jonathan has always been drawn to acting, but didn't actually dip his toes into the water until he was cast as Avram in the stage play "Best Meal You Ever Ate", by Bema Productions, at the Victoria Fringe Festival of 2015 (current profile pic).
Well and truly bitten by the bug, he joined the community theatre St. Luke’s Players in Victoria, where, after repeated auditions, he finally got his breakout role as Nick the burglar in the hilarious "Bedtime Stories" (2018). After that, he was cast in consecutive productions: as the detective Mark McPherson in "Laura", Patrolman Vanelli in Night Watch, Sherlock Holmes in Sherlock Holmes and the Spinsters of Blackmead; and Saul Watson in "Play On!"
